cant print to the 4850w. the online light keeps flashing but wont go online.
also if I remove the autocad controller is it possible to still make copies.I have tried to remove the controller but when I go to copy the machines reads memory full.

I think controller harddisk had failed. try reformating hdd.

How do you format the hdd is this done through the control panel inservice mode

We did this with the 2nd version Cadmaster controller. There were several versions of the Cadmaster controller and also a Ratio controller. I think the original cads used AMD and the 2nd versions used Celeron, I have never seen a Ratio. I also read somewhere, maybe here, that Ratio filed for bankrupcy.

I would also pull the processor from the cad controller and clean off the heat sink compound and use fresh compound on it.
