    250ci jamming

    Hi

I've got a Taskalfa 250ci concerteenering coming out of the fuser, won't do it when I'm on site, but I've seen the waste. Not a high vol machine.

    Any Ideas

Well thank goodness it's not bagpiping or there would be real trouble!

Does the system have a finisher on it? What jam code is it. That should steer you a bit.

another thing to check. are they doing full color bleed on the paper? the quality of paper and the settings on the fuser will affect that too.

I've seen this twice recently on new machines, the gate/guide above the fusing unit is not positioned correctly.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.

Not full bleed, the paper seems fine, went this morning, found paper round the fuser unit, with c6030, removed wrap, reset code.
I removed the exit unit, and reset, coudn't see anything obvious. I did however upgrade the firmware which was a couple of levels old.
