    Kyocera-Mita KM4030

Our customer can print to the copier and when they were doing so they were trying to duplex. However they can not click on the duplex option. What do we have to do to get the duplex option to show up in the print preferences? Yes the machine can duplex. Any help appreciated, thank you.

Control Panel -> Printers -> Right click on 4030 -> Properties -> Device Settings tab -> check Duplex. This is for the KX driver; the KPDL and PCL uni drivers are different.

You need to configure the driver, so that all the options are available to you. aragul is right, of course. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Isn't there an auto config check box under properties that polls the machine in order to populate the options within the driver?

Yes, on the newer versions of the KX driver. There have been quite a few driver updates since the Falcon I came out. It could be a very old driver or a universal driver lacking that function. =^..^=
