    km2525e/mk825a +mk825b

    hi all,
has anyone tried using the same maintenance kits mk 825a + mk 825b in different branded km2525e/utax 1625 machines.I presume they are the same units but wanted to check first.
    Thanks in advance,

I don't have any direct experience with Utax, but those maintenance kits are used on the whole Voyager and VoyagerE line, excepting CS-C4035E (CS-C2520 CS-C3225, CS-C3232, CS-C2525E, CS-C3225E, CS-C3232E). Both Copystar and Kyocera.

I would not anticipate any problems. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I just had another thought. Utax is sold in Germany, yes? If it's 220 VAC 50Hz you'll probably have differences in the fuser, specifically lamps. In the US the heat roller lamps will have the following markings:

Heat Lamp with black text: 120V USHIO, 642WF KL1Y
Heat Lamp with red text: 120V USHIO, 428WF KK5Y

If the lamps in your original fuser are different, an inventive tech could swap the lamps from the original fuser into the new one. =^..^=

Blackcat, thanks for your input,Im of the same opinion so will order a kit and let ye know.No harm backing up my thoughts. The reason I asked was because of price differentials. Also I'm in Europe so Im good for 220v fusers. Thanks again.
