Does any one fix the 1510-1810 laser units. I have cleaned a few out and sometimes that works for a month. TIA

Hytec Dealer Services does. www.repairpcb.com. I also make sure that the fan vents stay clean front and rear. Seems to help some. We instruct our key ops to check them every toner change. They can use an old stiff paint brush to clean them out.

Re:CS-1510 and CS-1810 Lasers
We\'ve got 30-40 between kyo and copystar. Had three go bad. One was in a fairly new machine, but just out of warranty, of course. The fan actually failed first in that one. LSU sits fairly close to the fuser, and only 1 fan to vent the entire box. The other two were within a few days of each other, and the fan vents were pretty plugged. We started calling key ops to check them after that. Haven\'t had any since. Now whenever we visit the machine, we remove all the covers and vac out all the dust, just to be sure.GO TIGERS!!

Have sent in a couple to Ambassador Tech as they were very loud. Seem to work fine now.Comment
