Hey Fellow Techs!
Here's one that's got me stumped! I have a Km-4530 with about 400k copies that leaves the front half of the copy blank. After stopping the copier in the middle of the copy cycle and observing the drum, the blank area that's seen on the copies leaves a small amount of developer on the drum. This problem is intermitent, sometimes it will print out a complete page and other times just part of the page starting at the front. If you continue to make copies say about 10 or 20 the whole page goes blank with just a slight image. Also you can feel bits of developer on the copies. Now keep in mind, it always starts at the front of the copy and works it way back to the rear while running 11x81/2. I have tried new drums, developer, chargers, transfer coronas and went as far as switching out the image unit. It always starts out leaving about 2 inches of the front part of the copy blank and working it's way back to the rear of the copy. I have also checked all the wiring going back to the boards and all the connections are solid. If anyone has seen this or anything similar please drop me an email, I'd really appreciate some ideas.
Thanks!
Kevin
