    clearing received document memory km-2050

Still trying to resolve my fax issue, but we can get them manually if we hit on-hook and start. However, one of the documents we tried this with seems to be an odd size or something? because nothing will print and the fax status screen on the operation panel only says "Received Doc. In Mem.". The manual says this is because there is no paper, however not only is there paper, but I also tried setting the drawer and bypass tray both to every paper size possible. This document just WILL NOT print. Any idea how I can get rid of it (short of a u020?). I have since changed the fax rx setting to Zoom (reduce) instead of 100%, which I think is what caused the problem, but nothing will come through until this document is gone.

Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated.

I dont know anything about this brand or models, but I can tell you this symptom is exactly the same on the machines I have worked on. Check the paper type is set to Plain, and the tray that you wish to use for fax receiving is actually enabled in the settings for fax receive.

On Sharp machines, if the fax option is unticked in the tray settings, the machine will receive the fax OK, but not print it as that option is disabled. It will just say load paper. If the tray enabled to print received faxes is called as anything other than 'Plain', it also will not print the fax.

    Just a thought.........

      I think I'd start with u600 fax initialize. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
