we just installed about 18 of these printers in a title company that had hp's before, the hp you were able to turn off the mp tray and it would never call for you to put paper in the mp tray, the customer has said to me that every once in a while the printers will call to put paper in the mp tray, i believe because they are running it out of paper( could be wrong thats the only time it has asked me) all printers have xtra cassette for letter and legal, i would really like to make it so that they dont get asked to put paper in the mp tray at all, they never use it... no envelopes, cardstock, no real reason for it at this location. thanks for any help.... More likely, They're getting some A4 & A3 sized documents. All you need to do is enable "Auto A4" in FRPO Settings, in the Command Center. Then any requests for A4 will be filled with Letter sized paper.
One of my title companies had the exact same situation on a VoyagerE. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
