    C5300 printer jamming

I'm new to Kyocera's and have a C5300 color printer jamming every time at the exit. I noticed a noise coming from the manual feed tray and took it apart and glued the lever that moves the pressure plate. The noise is gone but now it still jams every time at the same place. The paper is about 1 inch out when it stops. Everything is moving fine and it isn't catching on anything, it just stops. I got 1 sheet out when I switched it from regular to envelope, but then it went back to jamming. The call was for constantly jamming so I'm not sure if it's something I did when I took out the drive assy or if there is something else I'm missing.....any ideas?

Hi, is the print in the correct place on the page? if not then possible the reg clutch is staying on. if it is just stopping sounds like a timing issue the sort you get when the wrong size paper goes through either to long or to short what are the jam codes.

      UPDATE -
Exit sensor was the problem. There was too much play in the actuator, the paper would almost fully depress the flag before the actuator even moved into the sensor. Added a shim and as soon as the paper hit the flag the actuator was moving.

Thanks for posting back. I'll watch for that. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
