I don't think you an do this directly.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.

aabarnes is correct. You'll have to scan them into the MFP. No direct path. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

What about sending a print job to be stored on the optional hard drive? Permanent jobs can be stored on the option hard drive, can't they?
But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

Private Print is different than a document box. Private Print jobs are in PCL or KPDL print language, and will clear immediately when the password is entered. These documents cannot be sent, since the scan card cannot use PCL or KPDL print language. A Document Box holds scanned documents as PDF, JPEG, or TIFF format, that do not clear when sent or printed. =^..^=
