    copy star cs2020 missreads orginal size

    Has anyone had any problems with a cs2020 missreading orginal sizes. I have one that when you lay it on glass it will very intermittenly misread size of 8.5x11 to be a 11x8.5. cleaned sensors.

    hello, i don't know how familiar you are with this machine, but the original detection sensors are in the black arm assembly that actually moves scanner. if thats what you cleaned, then i'd say checkyour wiring harness inside the black arm and also make sure customer is raising lid at least to a 45 degree angle. last but not least, make sure there is no bright ceiling light directly above as this can sometimes cause intermittent problems such as this.

      Copystar/Kyocera

      As I'm from the UK and Copystar are sold as other badges, with regard to the Kyocera format, I would check that there is no paper at the rear of either cassette i.e. remove each cassette and check. Cassette sensors are at the rear of the opening.
