That model has been discontinued. That's why you can't find parts for it. Your best bet is to find a KyoceraMita dealer in your area and see if they have the parts you're looking for in stock and are willing to sell them to you.
But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.

      Rollers

Marcudemus, let me know if you can't find these rollers locally. I may be able to source a set and mail them to you!

Humm, We just took over an Account with older models, 6030 series, 4530 series, 5035 and 2530 series as well as 1 KM-4230.... I might be needing these rollers myself in the future. I am going to see my district rep tomorrow on a different issue, but I will see if I can drop a line while we're working on the issue, maybe he has some sources for OLD machines, I will try to contact an Old employer of mine that did have quite a few of these machines, who knows, they might have some on their inventory, they are based out of California.

Jules: Yeah, I just discovered that when I was looking for an IR emitter and sensor for the F-4330 finisher last year. I'm trying anything I can.

Crazy Bananas! Yeah, try as I might, I haven't had much luck yet with local and downstate dealers. If your source connections won't charge my yet-to-be-first-born, that would be awesome!

Ignacio: Wow, that would be a huge help! If you need any hard-to-find documentation on the KM-4230/5230 or their finisher, the F-4330, let me know!

FYI.. you might already know this, but some of these photo sensors are actually interchangeable, while I was at a 500ci series class last month, the instructor told us that if the part number does not start with the same prefix (2bc......, 2ar.......) on older models, newer models (302bc......, 302ar......) as the rest of the parts in that machine or series, chances are it was released from an earlier machine, that means, if you currently have a boneyard, you might be able to find these parts to be able to keep other machines alive. Also, I have noticed that some parts are interchangeable with other brands, in my case, I fixed a Panasonic Copier with an OLD Photo sensor from an older Kyocera machine, that was left in my own tool bag. Dont know about rollers, they seem to be more specific to a brand, and some times to a series, but figure it is worth a try.

Have you tried KATUN, they seem to have some of these older parts, they leave some quality to be desired, but heck, it could take you out of a bind.
