Oh boy, I know later voyager has smb capability and I have assit one by phone(250ci tho).

Does mac use scanfile utility? Maybe its better through smtp or ftp.

For starters, you've got to upgrade the NS-30 scan card to firmware version 1.4.11, and turn on Scan to SMB in simulation U512. Then you'll see SMB area of the scanner's web interface.

I know I've got a couple of threads out there on this subject:

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

this is awesome. Is it non-unc in the older interface?

Negative. You need the whole path, best copied/pasted right out of the folder properties.
