[Misc] Kyoceraq KM-5050 Print and Scan Problems

We have a KM-5050 and are having problerms printing and scanning. The copier has about 50 stations connected to it and intermittenly stops accepting print jobs from some of the PC's, but not all. The same problem accur's with the scan to email as well (sometimes an error code will say not connected). Other times the print job will print out, but 10 or 15 mintues later. There is a toshiba right next to the Kyocera and it dosent seem to have any problems printing or scanning. Any ideas of what the problem could be...

    Thank you...

I'd start by setting up a power quality analyzer on the power outlet, then monitor the power for 48 hours.

We had a few CS-5050's that kept dropping off the network, then would re-appear several hours later. It turned out that there were some serious power spikes hitting the machine via the AC 110, and it would drop off the network.

The customer ran a dedicated AC line, and all the problems were solved. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

There was a post here on the Printers side (Heck I had the issue too) in my case, it turned out to be Network issue (not my machine) so, you can try changing the Connection speed to 10MBPS on the device, if you still have issues, might be something with the Network, Possibly a bad switch, Hub, or even a Switch that might not be configured correctly.
