    [Error Code] Job Accounting Error

    Hi

I am having a problem with printing form Windows 7 64 bit, using KMNet Accounting, the error "illegal account" is dispayed. I have found the folleing link on the internet.

Kyocera Networked printers on 32 bit server won't print from 64 bit Windows

Has anyone found a way around this.

    Cheers

I have seen this and got it fixed. after lots and lots of troubleshooting, now that you added a 64bit machine to the system it conflicts with some of the other drivers. and gives this headache. i had the region rep out to solve the problem. what we did was use the km uninstaller and remove all things kyocera off the server.. make sure its clean and have the computers wiped out too. then reload the newest driver to the server and share it out. that should solve your problem. just removing a printed will not remove the files that are causing your problems.

Thanks for that, I have just found out that the client machines are 32 bit, and the SERVER 64 bit, but you're explanation makes sense. Did you uninstall the KMnet accouting as well?

KMnet for accounting we left. they only have it on one computer for the main lady in charge, not on the server, so we were able to leave that alone so she did not have to reconfigure everyone. they had a bunch of account codes.

Got it sorted in the end, I used the latest M/Soft Digitally signed driver, used the additional driver feature off the 64 bit server, seems OK

            Thanks for your help
