Did you do a search on the website search engine?

You'll find that regardless of what manufacturer, what model, it remains unethical and illegal to reset total count.
These are the kindest words you'll hear on the subject. Other members are more blunt.

Being that this is your first posting, I hope this isn't the way you conduct all your business. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The copy count on your copier is the same as an odometer on a car. If I bought a car that had 0 miles on the odometer but actually had been ran 10,000 miles, I would turn the seller in to the authorities.

Kyocera gives you the chance to use a machine for demo purposes, and reset the copy count once during the 1st 1000 copies, but after that, and you don't take your chance to reset, then that is your problem. Trying to reset meter and pass as new is theft, reprehensible, illegal, and smears the reputable dealers with the same reputation that you obviously have.

Of course we know how to do it, but if we tell you it won't be a secret anymore.

Techs have been really nice to you here.

Sell the machine as a demo at a little discount and then sleep good at night knowing that you did not screw someone.

If I was a customer that bought a NEW machine and then found out later that it was used, I WOULD SUIE YOUR ASS OFF.

Why does this have to be explained??

You could always buy a new machine, most of them come out of the box with really low meters.

I've even seen them come with a meter reading of zero.

I agree here, i have flipped meters, but that was on rebuilds and i clearly disclosed to my customer that i was doing it.

You can not normally reset the meter. Its burned in on the EEPROM of the machine.
