PM kit availability on older equip, how long ?

How many years does Kyocera provide PM kits available as the equipment gets older, do they have a cut-off like some manuf. do on supplies and parts when the machines get older?

    Mainly concerned with model KM-4035 / 5035

The Falcon II is a very popular model. I've still got quite a few in the field.

Popularity seems to be to most reliable measure of how long the manufacturer will support a machine. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Years ago, Mita would keep parts and kits around for about 8 years. I don't know if that is still true since Kyocera took over.

Anybody remember the Canon NP-6650? First warning at 7 years, 2nd warning at 10 years. Most parts were still available at 12 years, when the official notice came through. But NP-6650 was a very popular model. The NP-3525 series that came out in the same time period were retired right at the 7 year mark. That machine was a piece of ... analog copier. Did the duplexer ever work, even brand new? No ...
