km 3060 press roller jams

    km 3060 press roller jams

    Hi all just wondering if anybody has had press roller jams on this model machine. The paper seems to be wrapping around the lower press roller. Once the jam is removed it could work away trouble free for weeks or months.All the machines so far have low copy counts and both press and heat roller look in good condition. I have seen this problem on a few differant machines within this range.

      Are there any transparencies nearby?

      The only fuser jamming on Stratos I've ever seen is associated with using the wrong type of transparencies. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

              If this was the old analog machine it would be a DC 3060. Not KM 3060. ??

              If I'm not mistaken.

              Winter time you may have static in the paper. Or damp ? Sorry, can't help more than that.
