    KM 5050 v Task Alpha 520i

    Hi all, we have yet to move onto the 520i's but have some prospects coming up.Just wanted a guage for the newer machines v the 5050's.Are they as reliable/robust as the older model.Any issues with them that spring to mind?Thanks in advance..

    From the techs over at dnet-km they like the newer machines over the KM 3050-KM4050 style.

    But the KM 3035-4035 was the best of them all.

    Anyway the new equipment is good.

      I like them. I've got only three that haven't yet reached the first PM, but I've only had one call. Black copies, and it turned out to primary charge loss. From what I can tell, they are at least as robust as the CS-5050. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        Thats good to hear cos the prospects in mind are certainly fond of a bit of rough love when it comes to their equipment!
