    5035 fax question

I don't normally work on much Kyocera product, but got a 5035 into the shop which I was running up and checking out, when checking the fax outgoing seems fine, but incoming seems to be very slow in-between pages, like it pauses 15 or 20 seconds for each incoming page, is this a normal speed for incoming fax on the 5035?
I was looking around in the settings, changed reception bulk output to "on", seems like it got somewhat faster, but still too slow I think...

Try multiple sources, and ask them to set resolution as low as possible, to see if it's on the sending end. If all those take excessive time, you may wanna check for noise on the line that could be interfering with transmission.

Just take a look at the reception times on the activity report.

Think of it this way: You have a 35 ppm MFP receiving page data at 5 or less ppm. So it takes the machine 1.71 seconds to print a page, but 12 seconds or more to receive each page. That sounds about right. To complete the math, What is the average reception time? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
