    Kyocera km 3040 duplex

    Hello Friends, when I use DUPLEX MODE 2 sided copy the image of the first side and 2 side SHIFT UPWARDS about 1 inch, while using normal copy mode 1 side the print is ok no shift from anywhere I check it from all Trays the result is same ,the prob comes only when USING DUPLEX MODE, I also CLEAR ALL MEMORY but still no result, Please I need help.

      I hope that you took a maintenance report before you did this all memory clear. Otherwise, how will you re-enter all the data you threw out?

      First, you'll need to run simulation U034 > LSU OUT LEFT to adjust printing centerline for the MP Tray, Cassette, and Duplex Second Side.
      Second, you'll need to run simulation U067 > ADJUST DATA1 to adjust scanning centerline, and ADJUST DATA2 for centerline of rotated images.
      Third, you'll need to run simulation U072 > DATA (simplex) to adjust DP centerline first side, DATA(duplex1) to adjust DP centerline for first duplex page second side, and DATA(duplex2) to adjust centerline for second and later duplex second sides.

      Fourth, you'll need to re-enter all that other data you discarded. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          THANKS my Friend,I re-enter all the required Data and solve the issue, THANKS, could you please send me the SERVICE MANUAL for KM 3040 if you have.
          I have another KM3040 in which the 2nd Cassette is not working , I check all the sensor and left UP Motor all is ok, even if i enter the size for paper like A4, A3 , Folio the Cassette not showing the size in the display,Please need help for this Prob also.

              Often a piece of paper slips behind the tray, then that piece of paper gets pressed into the connector insulating the terminals. With the machine Off and unplugged use a pointy dental probe to carefully remove paper from the tray connectors. If you don't turn Off the machine you'll get sparks, and possibly blow a board.

              Is the tray lifting? If no, do a U906 partial reset to clear the lift error.

              There is a manual vendor available here at Copytechnet that will be delighted to sell you a manual. =^..^=
