KM-2050 drum reset for use w/generic

Is there any way to reset the count through service mode w/out using new drum unit for the reset? We installed a generic drum/blade and cannot reset manually. Many thanks for advice given.

Put 10871087 and run sim 251 to clear drum and maintenance service counters.

    Bye !

Yes but 110 won't clear it like the fuser clear or the maintenance clear, I believe the drum contains a fuse that must blow on installation? Or is there another trick to get 110 to work? I cleared 251 but don't think it cleared the drum, not sure and the location is 1.5 hours away. I'm assuming some voltage correction is applied when the drum count gets cleared.
