    All the Kyocera-made machines are compatible with some PreScribe commands, but the real question is which commands? Not all PreScribe commands work on a specific model. And there is no list that I know of, saying which commands work on which models.

    What are you trying to do? =^..^=
    If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      I'm trying to teach myself prescribe... But I can't get the fs-1016 to do ANYTHING at ALL! I've played with a fs-c5100 a bit on the network too and it looks like I can do a few things there!
      Ultimatly I want to load a letterhead onto the fs-c5100.
      at the moment we print out a bunch of letterheads then load them back into the mp tray and print on them again!
      ive been playing around with the following tools:
      iclink, print driver utility, and a prescribe macro generator.
      i think there might also be settings in the command centre that i need to do???
      i find all this prescribe stuff very confusing but very very interesting and i would love to learn more!
      i also have an installation next week 2 taskalfa's 250ci's and 5 fs-3140's this customer has 3 diferent letterheads that they use... that setup is going to be a tricky one!

        Start with a few status pages:

        Wisecore machines typically use:
        !R! CALL BSTP;EXIT;

        Previous technology uses:
        !R! STAT 1;EXIT;

        Or how about an event log:
        !R! KCFG"ELOG";EXIT;

        There is nothing that needs to be enabled for PreScribe scripts to work. If it takes firmware PreScribe must be available and functioning. Firmware is all PreScribe commands.
Only you can make observations.

          i'm looking for commands for the start of job string and end of job string.
          -for making a carbon copy. something like !R! CCPY E and !R! CCPY D;EXIT
          Thanks guys!!! I'm learning a lot!!!
