    km-c3232 black washed out

Is there a way to increase just the black density on the KM-C3232? All other colors seems okay and the black DV was replaced not that long ago.

Also, we notice that there appears to be light lines spaced about 1 inch apart as the copy exits. Is this failure of charge roller or more in the drum department?

    Thanks

about 1in? 1.5in (38mm) will be the charge roller. stop the job half way pass T-belt, see what the print looks like if its not the drum department.

How visible is it? u89 gray will give you clear view on which unit is causing the issue as it print from specified color only.

I wouldnt swap the roller due to the machine has already lock onto(calculated/compensated) to its surface property, and because there's u89. (but for testing purpose, not stopping ya)

u89> gray, hit start for K.
u89 color> gray, hit interrupt, hit "full color", then "user choice"(i think), mono color, then C M Y.

I think you need to print the color belt first to enable the mono color option.

Problem with black for sure. u89 grey is very washed out. Guess I will have to bite the bullet and do a new drum/dv unit.

          Thanks

before swapping the whole K set.

can you hand crank the K dev?
