    blank print & copy on km_5050

    hi every one,i had a touchscreen of km5050 not responding to touch.i changed d whole panel display it came up with error cf 30,so i upgraded d firmware and it worked fine,i nw printed a maintenance report and discovered it was blank.i also discovered that another seperate km5050 i upgraded that morning has bin printing blank after upgrading, SOMEONE
    pls wat do i do????? im srewed up

      I've never seen a blank maintenance report. I think the first thing I would do is downgrade the firmware a couple levels, then check to see is the image has returned. At that point you'll have to decide if you want to risk upgrading to current levels again. The last few levels of Falcon III firmware do not have any serious bugs that I'm aware of. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Hi!

          I've had the same problem on a Olivetti d-color 500MF.
          I think its the same machine as the km-5050.
          When i upgraded the the firmware, i got blank copies.
          The problem was that i really downgraded it.
          They have added a clutch on the drive unit for the dev.unit.
          If you use the wrong firmware the clutch won't work and you get blank copies.
