Dear sir- Date-6-5-11

We are facing following problem in km 520i mc-

1- when we take copy, print or internal report ,thin black lines appears on whole
page and image is increased in paper feed/exit direction proportionately the no of
lines appeared.SAMPLE NO 1 and NO 2

2- If we run CHARGER AUTO CLEANING (management-adjustment/maintenance) 3 to 4 times after runnig U-002 density of lines
Reduced after each run SAMPLE NO # 3 and #4

3- If we leave mc for 15 to 20 minutes in non working condition then black lines
Starts again ( sample no 1 or 2 )some times in this condition mc gives 2 to 3
Blank Copies with black clouded image on front.

Further I noticed that if we change valu of ser made no U 034 saturation
Of lines varies drastically.

WE are using maintenance kit mk 716 toner kit tk 715 in this mc.
Total count of this ms is 1020000 aprox. this problem starts after 970000copies
When we changed mk-716 for 2nd times after the complaint of 1 vertical line was appearing an all papers.

Pl provide some solution for this.thanks

I don't see this as a primary charge issue. I see this as a laser unit issue.

I have no idea why running U002 and U034 and wire cleaning would make any difference. Especially since U034 is the image centerline and lead edge registration adjustment.

If you are still convinced that this is some sort of main charge issue, replace the main charger assembly. When that doesn't make any difference (and it won't) change the laser assembly. =^..^=
