I thought I knew my 6030s/8030s pretty well but i have a paper feed issue i can't seem to nail..First of all there are no jams..the symptom is what I'll call RIPPLED PAPER. As the paper exits into the finisher tray the first half of the page is normal, but the last half of the page is rippled, like a roller coaster... Not creased or z folded but rippled or several curls, for lack of a better word. This comes and goes. If i "force" the copier to jam, it usually ripples severely for 4 or 5 copies, then straightens itself out. Does this make any sense ? How about it Blackcat

Hi tech,
First try to isolate the problem whether it's finisher or main body. Try removing finisher. I'm a KonicaMinolta tech basically we have same problem in 7255,7272 and same variant models and it refers a decurling roller situated at exit section.Comment

My hunch is you have a feed roller (and i will bet a pennie its close/in the Fuser assembly) that is worn that is rotating slower than it should...
We're talking of just a hair slower... thats why the start of the sheet (the side that comes out of machine 1st)is straight and loking towards the end of the paper you see a curl that gets bigger or how can i put it more pronounced. ( i say around the fuser cuz paper gets "softer" when hot, making that smooth curl)
Did you see that with A4 paper or A3? (for me A4 is what in the USA is closest to Legal). Test the machine with the biggest paper you can. the bigger it is... the bigger the curly.
(I would try A3 paper and make a couple emergency stops and inspect the paper somewhere along the line you'll nail the area where the curl is beeing made)
On a fun side (or not!!!!) once at a client (copy centre) client had around 7 copy machines and 3 were ours had a funky prob on a Kyo 80ppm... it would bend/jam the sheet... after alot of inspecting, dissassembly, parts replacing... you name it, i tore down the entire machine, nothing, mechanically it was perfect. Came to find out someone had entered service mode and adultered the motor speed value for the transport belt (man was i pissed... lol)... So yeah... that was a fun day hahaComment

First, Zesti has a good idea. Remove the finisher to eliminate that as a cause.
My bet is that it isn't, though. Right behind the feedshift gate you'll find a black teflon coated de-curl roller. It has solved this situation for me before.
Also make sure that the feedshift gate is not sticking on those foam pads. I'm replacing those foam pads with the fuzzy side of self-adhesive velcro.
I was about to suggest altering the fuser motor speed. But use caution, like hekotez suggests, if you are not careful you can create much worse problems for yourself. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
