I have a KM-8030 that we took over service on. I'm not too familiar with this 6030 8030 series, but recently its been giving a jam code 86 (jam in eject section of finisher) quite a bit on just normal one sided prints with no stapling or punching. I've cleaned all rollers in the paper path, cleaned the eject sensor with air and checked operation with U241, checked for any obstructions with no luck. It jams this code 1 out of 100-200 pages or so. When it does jam, theres no wrinkled paper or anything just papers stopped. 86 means the paper has been through the PES but not the eject sensor so maybe the eject sensor is going out or the rollers need replaced. The rollers look just fine and the machine has less than 300K. The machine has the multi tray option also if that helps at all. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The only time I've seen J86 & J87 jams intermittently, there was a scrap of paper toward the back of the punch unit. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I had the punch unit out of the machine and there was no paper. I am a little stumped right now.Best rule for troubleshooting.
