Re: J32 on KM 8030 or D800 or CD1080
I may be missing something, but I've got machines with 2M and have only cleaned these rollers at PM intervals. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: J32 on KM 8030 or D800 or CD1080
Thanks I still play about and I got new type mylars, new spring although I have to say 1 machine already had it and It was still misbehaving.
Going to check the pulleys, they usually never go wrong, Either way, that one way pulley is only a bridge between those 4 registration rollers (2 nylon up+2 rubber under) so you can move misfed paper from registration out on to the transfer belt.
I think I might have issue with paper. It is stored in huge airconditioned room, and I am suspecting humidity levels to be too high. I had a load of fresh paper unboxed over 2 nights and I think it jammed less from that stack.
will keep you postedThanks Black Cat and Kyocera team. ..hm time to check humidity levels.

Re: J32 on KM 8030 or D800 or CD1080
OK Humidity levels of paper storage room were:
64-65% with 16 'C
pretty damp considering ideal storage conditions for paper are
44-54% at 18-22'C
how am I suppose to setup machines to work with paper like that, if even heaters switched ON did not help much.
Any suggestions? ..
On top of that it is a budget A4 80 gsm paperand it was a lot of it....bout 480.000 sheets in 2 weeks. So I had busy machines.

Re: J32 on KM 8030 or D800 or CD1080
The best that I can suggest is to get a couple of those cases of paper sitting next to the MFP, so the paper can start adjusting to the office environment.
I had a situation years ago where the paper was stored in an uncontrolled environment. In the winter -12C, in the summer 43C, and humidity all over the map. The customer would call for jamming right after installing a ream of paper, then by the time I arrived, it didn't jam anymore. 5 return calls later, I was running the sheet out of the machine and ran out of paper. The office manager walked me out to the warehouse, where the heat just about knocked me off my feet. I could hardly hold the paper it was so hot. Just keeping 4 reams on the shelf nearby acclimating, resolved this issue. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:

Re: J32 on KM 8030 or D800 or CD1080
Watch out for the metal turn baffle into the registration area as viewed from the right side paper path. What I found was a bent baffle toward the front of the machine. Use a flashlight and inspect the gaps where the paper enters the the verticle transport from both trays 1 & 2. If it isn't even front to rear you can repair this by applying pressure to the front side of the metal baffle where it mounts to a bracket. You should see the gap even out. Another clue is you hear a slight metal scraping noise when slowly pushing drawer back in. I believe that the cause of this is the customer pulls the drawer out prior to removing the paper from the right side and when the paper crunches up on the front and binds the drawer, they angrily continue pulling the drawer all the way out thus bending the baffle and altering the paper transition into the registration area. My symptoms were J32's from Tray1 and skewed feeds along with J32s from Tray 2. Hope this helpsComment

Re: J32 on KM 8030 or D800 or CD1080
Thank you Xeroid, I will most definitely try and check your suggestion. Shoul have the machines back by next week, so hopefully I will be able to check them out properly and try side by side any how they all behave with the same paper and different :
Adjustments of the buffle(still wondering what exactly that word buffle means
assuming is the paper guide where FSW2 is placed under.
I Thank you very much that you shared this info, I kinda did not believe that it could create enough force to actually bent that thing so much.
Will keep you posted whether it resolved the issue.
My biggest worry is still the paper. The only way to test is to use another 5 boxes of another brand put in the same enviroment for at least 5 days and than test it, but that is now impossible. I'll try my best.
Thanks Black Cat,
I was already acclimatizing the paper by taking it out of boxes and leaving the rims next to machines or very nearby by lying it down flat and few upright just to see whether it makes any differencescrazy I know but had to try almost any possibility as I could not change paper supplier at that time.
Will keep you posted with results and tests.Comment
