    Kyocera 6230 Install Finisher Error

I just moved my machine and when we hooked it back up, it is giving me an error that says install finisher. I unplugged it and the machine works fine. Please help.

The latching mechanism/ docking interlock switch is really flimsy.

Stick a wad of paper into the detent that is tripped by the projection on the main body bracket when the finisher is "home".

If that boots-up the finisher, you'll have to fiddle around with it, just like the rest of us.

    Hope this helps.

I agree with leroyal. If it is a sorter-C1 or a staple sorter C1/D1 the plastic release handle is well known for breaking, then not staying up tight to the machine.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
