    4000dn Prescribe????

    i have a 4000dn printer that is printing a logo that they need to have removed, the only time it prints the logo is when they print from a program called Arcona, it is used for car dealerships, and who know what elts, do not know anything about the program. this unit is now placed in a car lot, and used to be in a car toys. and prints the Cartoys logo in Arcona? everything else prints fine. anyone have a fix or know of a way to make is stop printing the logo... please tell me i can do it from the web interface???? as the customer is a 2hr drive away.. thanks for any help you might have.

    thanks for looking at my post i did solve my own problem, there was a cf card in the machine with a prescribe on it. i have one other question for you guys though, now that i have the card out and im trying to read what the prescribes are i open them in notepad and can read most of them. the logo however i can not read it is mumbo jumbo... what other programs would you try to see that prescribe command in??? thanks

      Regardless of what programming language, Textpad or XVI32 work quite nicely. You're not limited to ASCII characters.

      Regarding your logo, if it's not encrypted you might try Irfanview. It will open more file formats than I knew existed.

      If encrypted ... well good luck. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
