    Kyocera Mita KM-1650

Is there a known problem with the paper feed clutch on the Kyocera Mita KM-1650? Such as, has anyone had any issues that tend to remain constant with them until it is replaced, or do they just need to be cleaned from time to time? Any help appreciated, thank you.

It's possible, not terribly common. But you have frequent jamming on the vertical feed path, make sure the registration actuator spring is there.

I haven't seen many problems with the tray #1 pickup clutch, but the MP tray is another story. If you get an enduser that removes jams from the MP tray by pulling back against the feed rollers, the clutch spring will wrap, frequently. There is a new style clutch, but a persistent enduser can wreck these as well.

The only preventative is to advise endusers to remove paper jams in the feed direction. Good luck with that! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

sometimes the casette clutch becomes corroded and you have to take it off and just clean it
