Re: Kyocera KM 2540 error code C7400

You can pin out the harness from the developing unit PWB to YC1 on the engine PWB. I'd say the chances are pretty slim that you'll find the problem there.

You'll probably end up changing the engine PWB. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        The Copystar number is: 302JB94080

I am 95% sure that the PWB is the same used on both Copystar & KyoceraMita, only the OEM purchaser is set differently. Simulation U265 set to "2" for KM, set to "66" for Copystar, (there are other less common like Utax, but I don't know those). =^..^=

Have you re-loaded firmware after the board replacement? New boards rarely have current/compatible firmware.
Is the developing unit you installed the correct type? Check the part number to be sure. =^..^=
