[Error Code] Kyocera FS-3830N error at start up

Hello, I'm getting an error message (7410:0877971) after replacing Drum, Developer, Fusing and Transport/Feed kits. Machine was working with poor print quality previous to service. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also, does anyone know where I could download Kyocera service and parts manuals?

Push the drum in, or you have installed the wrong drum. try eBay for the manuals.

On the FS-2000/3900/4000 series it's extremely common for an enduser to cause this situation.

They get some fairly simple message, like "add toner" or "remove jam', then start pushing or pulling on everything in sight. Eventually they get around to dislodging the drum unit. The error stops them cold. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I've also seen this happen when the customer tries to change out the waste toner bottle. They tug and tug on it and eventually the drum comes loose.

If it's not the drum then make sure you installed the Dev unit correctly.

its a know issue when printing start for the briefest of moments the drum pops out just far enough to give this error. we were given special jigs that kinda jam up the release lever for drum that stops this.

Did you ever get this corrected ?
Check the connector on the side frame going to the switching regulator.

rrrohan , those wedges don't seem to do very well . We still get 7410 error codes with them in place. ( Perhaps your clients are not as aggressive as ours. )

rrrohan, you were given these special jigs for the FS3830 series? I've only seen these clips on the 2000/3900/4000 & 2020/3920/4020 series'.
