    fax issues on a FS-3140 mfp

    Seems to only happen sometimes. The customer claims not to be receiving all their faxes. I experienced the issue before and turned off ecm and v.34. Everything was ok until 2day. The customer missed 2 orders because they did not come through. It is a dedicated fax line, any suggestions will be appreciated.

    What does the activity report say? Perhaps they need a second fax to handle the traffic.

      make sure they do not have call waiting on that line( when it beeps at you when you are still on the phone line.) also are they using voip phone lines?

        What errors?
        If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
