    [Misc] FS-C2126 MFP

Showing "toner is running out (M)", even after replacing (M)toner. There is no excess (M)toner in waste container. Also happening on FS-C5100 Series printer.

I've seen this issue on a FSC2126 and C5150DN printer as well. KMA issued a tech bulletin that clarified the issue. Basically, the toner cartridge drive gears aren't "latched" and you have to rotate the cartridge gear back into a latched position. Re-install the cartridge and it should work.

Now that you mention it, on the 5100 series I've noticed that the cartridge linkage does not home exactly to the specific position required for a good mechanical connection. The drive seems to home to a position ~15 degrees beyond home. I have educated my customers to turn the coupler on the cartridge ~15 degrees, and it will engage. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
