Kyocera Mita 3035 - KM3035 - Not adding Toner to Dev Unit

I have a problem with a KM3035 not adding toner to dev unit.
I switched out the toner cartridge, and dev unit then ran simulation 130.
After running simulation, toner still does not enter the developer unit.
Anyone have this happen? If so, what if any was the solution?

    Thank you.

    1. it might be the wrong toner cartridge.... check the gears in the back off the old and new... see if they match in configuration... colors may be different but config must be same... with this you wont hear any noise... the gears on the copier and the ones on the toner are not connecting...

    2. check to see if the slide release of the toner cartridge is opening... sometimes... the manufacturer applies too much glue and it wont open... a sure sign of this is a knocking sound when you do a u130...

had the same issue twice before and it was the toner solenoid on both occassions. Bit of a job to change it.
I'd firstly check all the drive belts and gears.

The Type "A" and TK-719 cartridges look nearly identical, but the coupler is different, and will not mesh properly. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I had a 3035 do the same thing. Turned out the coupler shaft would get pushed too far down and the pin in the shaft would get free from the gear. I watched the coupler spin, but when any pressure was applied, it would no longer turn. I ended up modifying a plactic bushing (meaning I cut it back) so that would set higher near the gear and not allow the pin to come free.

There is a spring clutch in the back of the copier that is used to add toner. I had to replace this about 3x. It is a bit of a pain to get to.2BL22520 CLUTCH CONTAINER

I have seen this be the problem on more than one occasion, the solenoid does not release the toner drive.
Or the belt that drives the Toner feed and the mp tray is worn, do you also have MP Tray jamming?

Hi,if its not the toner container you can make the door switches with tape and also the toner container switch under the toner coupler gear in the machine. Then you can watch to see if the toner drive gear is working.Take off the tapes then you can try turn the gear manually with your hand.It should rotate clockwise pretty easily but should not rotate anti-clockwise.If it does its more likely the centre of the toner drive gear is rounded out from too much pressure trying to turn the toner tank gears. This can happen when the spare toner is stored standing on its end where the drive gears are, compacting toner into the end of the tank, causing the gears to be much harder to turn.
