    [Error Code] F-000

    I'm at a client who has 5 TA-420i & 5 TA-400ci.Problem is I do get the F-000 error code at times particularly on the TA-420i & on the service manuals,there's no reference to the mentioned code;At times when the mfd is in sleep mode,you will find the red/orange LED will be flashing,touch screen-off & any attempts to resuscitate the machine short of a restart will not do. Any ideas anyone??

    F000 = cf000 = Operation Panel Communication Error

    If you're lucky, just a firmware upgrade can resolve this. If you're not so lucky it can involve the CODE DIMM (DIMM memory that holds the firmware @ YS1 on the main PWB), the HDD, the operation panel PWB, or the main PWB, or some combination of the above (in that order). After each attempt you'll need to re-load the firmware (or attempt to). Pay special attention to the final "Completed ... " screen. This is where the machine will tell you which firmware failed, and where to go next. =^..^=
    If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
