    [Misc] Envelope Alignment

I have a brand new kyocera km-2560. I found running 24lb envelopes that they do not wrinkle. The problem I have now is that the return address is being cut half off. The only fix I have found is to move the address way over. It is almost like there is a lead edge issue with the bypass. I have tried different software and designs, all with the same result. Any ideas?

I'd guess it's one of the edge erase settings in tech mode.

What paper size is the MP tray set to? If you are not set to the correct envelope size, it may still print, but cause your document to be cut off, or print in the wrong direction. You could also try setting your KX driver to a different emulation. Sometimes PCL5 or KPDL may create a more desirable result. Worth a shot.

What brand of envelopes are you running? I have always had trouble with Kyocera printers creasing, and normally running envelopes with a straight flap will alleviate the problem, but if you have found one that works well, I'd love to know what it is!

Like Metalvoc says, envelopes are always a problem. But if the media size and type are set correctly, the leading edge registration can be adjusted separately for the MP tray in simulation U034. Perhaps this or the loop adjustment would help. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Metalvoc, my customer had a bad wrinkling problem in the beginning with recycled envelopes. I found an old box of 24lb office max brand envelopes and took a stack in there and they ran great. The odd thing is, the first envelopes they were running lined up perfectly but wrinkled. Then they started misaligning and wrinkling. I don't think the brand is super important, just be sure they are 24lb. Kyocera recommends KENTWOVE brand but they are rather expensive. Most of your basic stores don't sell 24lb and if it is not specified then they are not.

I have double and triple checked all of the size settings. I will however today go into the settings and make sure that the MP tray is set for #10 envelopes. I have found difficulty with the interface and how to make changes with this machine but thats probabaly because I am new to Kyocera.
