    KM-5050 Screen Calibration

    Okay, we calibrate U210 and it works fine for a bit, then fails again. Is it a bad screen, bad cable or what is going on?

      Hi,
      I would replace the tablet operation (glas screen).You can also try to this but you wil need firmware.On the bottom of the operation panel there is a very small switch.Set this one to program,switch machine on and wait till leds on display turn on(can take a while just wait)Turn machine off set swtch to normal.Put Compact flash card with fw in slot ,turn machine back on and wait till upgrade is complete.Turn off ,remove card ,switch back on.

          On the KM-5050 the simulation to calibrate the tablet PCB(Touch Screen) is 201. There is no , boot/ normal switch on the KM-5050 operation circuit board. The machine with this feature ic the KM-2560 and 3560. They also require a specific firmware revision to perform this procedure then after performing the procedure twice you will need to update to the most current firmware. On the KM-5050 you should upgrade to the most current firmware before calibrating the touch pad. The most recent version is 2.45A for the KM-3050, 4050 and 5050. If this fails you may need to replace the touch Screen. Good luck, Hope this helps.
