I am considering purchasing a Kyocera Mita CS-2525 for a small office. Does anyone have any feedback or comments on the reliability and cost of ownership of this copier? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Kyocera Mita CS-2525 RELIABILITY
Could it be a VoyagerE: CS-C2525E?
For business color at moderate volumes it's a fine machine. You're not going to get magazine photo quality, but you'll pay considerably less for this model, good value for the dollar.
Compared to some competitors it's got a long maintenance cycle (300,000 prints), and the major bugs have been worked out.
=^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Kyocera Mita CS-2525 RELIABILITY
Hey ccooke,
you have to be lucky to get a good machine. If you purchase one, be sure it was maintenanced by a good technican. We had some of this machines. In the beginning we regularly had to change some Parts, but later on we got them running. But there also was one machine that made no problems at all. Kyocera fixed a lot of Problems but finally the TASKalfa Series which came after the 2525 made most things a lot better.
So alltogether you have to be a bit lucky and you should have a good technican, who supports you in trouble.
Hope I could help you a bit. Have a nice day!Comment
