Does the machine have a HDD in the print system? If so unplug machine and remove the 2 screws, remove the HDD.

        Try this

Go to the printer button, look for Hard drive and format it. Say sure and wait. Its the printer HD on the right side that giving problems. If you want, unplug machine and plug the hard drive / sled out of the machine and see if the format error is gone. The machine has a print system in it right? If not its the copier HD and that also can be formated

rusmacman is right on the mark. Try formatting the hard drive first. It usually takes 4 to 5 seconds. If it fails turn off, unplug copier, & remove the hard drive. If the error disappears you can replace the hard drive, or run without it if your print jobs are not too terribly large. If the error remains it's probably the print system that's shot. You can copy without it, but obviously can't print.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

You can replace it with any Notebook Hard Drive.

the hard drive is gone it can not format (never saw the format work properly) just remove the hard drive from the print system on the back bottom right of the km-3035 will see a black knob on a plate held on by 2 screws remove the hard drive with machine off. It can operate without a hard drive but you can replace it with any laptop hard drive (20gb).
Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.
