    [Error Code] FS-C5100DN Call service 4204

    The printer had a paper jam earlier in the week (most unusual) on subsequently sending a publisher file through it came up with "Call Service 4204:0002945". Turning off and allowing reset doesn't solve it as it only gets part way through the Self test. Any advice would be appreciated, the printer will not allow any printing, access to the menu etc now.

      Ooooo! You're not going to like this.

      It's a failure of the yellow laser. The manual suggests connectors, engine PWB, and of course the YK laser unit.
      You'll end up changing the yellow/black laser.

      To the right side of the colon is the page count:
      4204:0002945

      =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          Thank you. You're right that I don't like the answer. The printer is 2 1/2 years old but as you can see hasn't done much work as I only use it for colour documents.
