Machine is running fine but has message "Time for maintanence T". Anybody knows what it means and how to get rid of it? We replaced the Main PWB and had our KYO tech rep come down and we still can't get rid of the message.

What setting are you showing in simulation U345? =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

There is a problem with the realtime clock.

Thanks guys for your responses. Here's full detail on whats going on with this problem.
Initially Display was stuck on welcome then C-640. C-0840, Time for Maintenance T displayed. Solid color printed on page.
Replacing the hard drive resolved the C 640 issue. With the new main PCB,
the prints that came out were solid processed black, end to end. Placed back
the original main PCB and the prints came out normal. The only issue is the
machine says "Time for maintenance T". Tried resetting the time even though
the time and date are correct. Reset the machine to factory defaults. Did a
full out of box setup. The colors and image output is excellent. The only
issue is the Maintenance T. The 840 only appears only when after you do a
mode 906. Then when you power off then back on the machine goes to Ready, no
C 840 but time for maintenance T is displayed.Comment

Had this message on a Taskalfa 300ci about a year ago. Machine did 170k and displayed this message. Kyocera said that there could be a difference in the time setting between the various boards. U906 resolved it.Comment

UPDATE; U345 is set to 0, I actually just had a 420i with the same message made sure all times were correct 354 set to 0 did 906 problem solved. No luck on the 3050ci will try another main PWB and see what happensComment

please do the following steps.
- FW update
- sim 906
- check and adjust date and hour, also when it is correct.
problem should be solved permanently without changing parts.
