    [Error Code] KM-3050 Network Fax

Downloaded 3050/4050/5050 NW Fax driver on 3 different systems, Server 2003, XP, Windows 7. Get the same error message on all three when attempting to use, driver does not match device installed, but the fax itself works fine. Any ideas?

How did you install it... manually thorugh windows or a setup disk?

I've seen these install correctly using 64bit driver on a 32bit machine which normaly wouldn't work but it would get through the installation process and throw up the error you are getting

Try downloading the latest driver, and installing manually using the correct version.

I downloaded the drivers directly from Kyocera, and tried both 32 and 64 bit drivers. Neither worked.

If I remember correctly, the driver MUST match the copier make and model. So if you have a Copystar 3035 you have to have a Copystar labeled driver it can't be Kyocera driver.

Thanks, but it is a Kyocera KM-3050, with drivers downloaded from Kyocera.

Is the fax firmware up to date?

On a Saturn, I remember getting some sort of message ...
"Incompatable printer version." when attempting to PC fax (driver version 3.5.1014). The pop-up window for send information does not appear. Incompatable firmware version. FAX APL was at 5JP_5100.C05.001 (fax sys (S)). Upgrade firmware (currently v. 9.01, 5JP_5100.C05.006 for fax sys (S)).

            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.

Try flashing up the firmware, also did you try installing and using the kprint port for the network fax?

Thanks, firmware is my next step. Nohab is supposed to email me the firmware. Can you tell me more about the Kprint port? Its on a TCP/IP port.

yes you install it first, then when you install the driver when you get to the section of what port to use the kprint port will be available. You can download it from the kyocera website.
