I have had this message on a few machines lately. I have made sure the paper drawer is not loaded with paper to much also increase spring pressure also. I called tech support and they have not heard of this problem. I have orderd the paper out detection arm ( I plan on filing the flag arm more so the sensor won't detect paper out as quickly). any ideas or thoughts please reply

Re: fs 1128 false paper out on display
Are you sure this has nothing to do with paper size or media type? The "Load paper..." message can be cryptic. It's not always clear what the printer desires. Different size? Different media type? =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: fs 1128 false paper out on display
Hi, I had a FS-1300 do similar to what you are saying, they are same set up. I found the spring was not located correctly on the frame part and the arm was sticking straight down and so not operating the sensor. this was intermittent. look from the back of the printer into the tray and see if you can move the sensor arm with something to see if it is stuck with the tray and paper in.
hope this helps

update caught this false paper out problem. the customer called about this problem when i got there the message add paper was on the display before i did anything i turned the machine around and with my flasher light i looked threw the back . Sure enough the drawer was not lifting. I removed the drawer took all the paper out in the center of the drawer there is a hook and a plastic stopper piece that releases the lift tray put some grease on the plastic lock and it allowed it the work better has been working for over a week with out a call.Comment
