    Kyocera km-3530 fax problem

This copier has a million copies. The error c1010 came
up yesterday, upper tray lift motor. Order the motor
and copier is using tray 2.
Today the FAX quit, all send or receive is going to
memory but didn't transmitted. Tried direct TX didn't
help. I can on hook dial and the phone is ringing and have a dial tone etc but
no transmission of the fax. Tried force sending no result. Any idea? Thanks.

I'd go through and re-seat all the connectors in the fax option. Pay particular attention to the ribbon cable. If they are removed improperly, i.e. just yanked out of the connector, the contact strips will peel up and curl away from the backing. When re-inserted the conductors will fold over and not make proper contact. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
