Taskalfa 180 copy quality not clear compared to the original

hi all

this is a new Taskalfa 180 straight from the box. when doing normal copy, its OK, but when the copy original that has a background is being scan for copy the quality is not the same as the original. please refer to attachment to compare.

I would try messing around with some of the original settings, density maby?. the background and dots near the top you are trying to copy are very faint.

The example you scanned? was it scanned through the machine in question. if it was you can see the background on the computer so you should be able to replicate it on the copier, if so maby you need to darken the copies, up the bias...

Is it defaulted to Manual or Auto Exposure? Auto exposure is designed to remove background color from copies, so it's doing what it's supposed to. If you want to see the background enable Manual exposure. =^..^=
