    Scan to folder error

Taskalfa 255 set up scan to folder (smb) worked for a while then customer called saying unable to scan. While troubleshooting machine scans were successful but were coming out as a full green page. Copies from platen glass and feeder were coming out black.Replaced main pub according to tec. Bulletin solved black copies. When attempting to scan to pc from DP after doing usual steps(select send, address book,ok) and pressing start machine beeps and does not pull doc. Installed latest firmware and was able to scan successfully for a few days until customer called again.Customer said this was the same problem that happened before main pub was changed. Any suggestions?

Is this MFP connected to a Surge Suppressor, if not, you might have some Power Issues.

I agree, you may have a power issue. I had an account where they had 2 KM 6030's, one always during copies or prints would throw intermittent blanks. I moved that unit to where the other one was. With the second unit same thing, checked the outlet and the voltage on the nuetral was to high. If no surge check the outlet voltage.

Turns out it was a power issue changed the line conditioner from a triple lite LC 1800 to the Kyocera branded line conditioner no problems since.
