    neg imade when scanning

    i am not a kyocera tec but ricoh,sharp and milolta trained.
    i picked up a few kyocera accounts and am learning on the fly..
    have a "i know its 10 yrs old" km 3035,that customer had me run a new net feed"cat5"
    and install the software.
    i got it to scan after running" u504 init scanner" but image is like a negative.
    glass or feeder both the same.
    cked manual for an adj for scanning n see you are asked to use a "test chart"
    Place the specified original (P/N: 2A068020) on the contact glass.
    two questions:
    is there a way to get this "chart"
    2 can it be adj differently?
    copy lines up but is like a negative..
    any help appreciated...

      This sounds more like an improperly configured default setting. Go into the device's home page and look under "Scanner Default Setting" for anything that sounds like it might produce a negative type image.

          Could this be proprietary software only that makes the negative scans? See below:

          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

              i am scanning to twain and using scan to pdf to save files as a pdf..
              will try to scan to folder when i get back there,it was after 5pm when i
              finally got it scan to twain...
              did try diff dpi settings and also save as pdf or tiff,same result
